Join the founding team.

New Machineis a small, remote-first team running the full startup lifecycle — build, launch, grow — for clients across the US, the Philippines, and beyond. We’re not hiring for headcount. We’re hiring people who want direct ownership of real work, not a seat in a bigger machine.

Why join

How we actually work.

Remote-first, always

We hire globally and work async by default — our San Francisco and Makati hubs are there when you want them, not a place to perform.

Direct ownership

You own a project end to end, not a slice of one behind three approvals.

Real impact, fast

Small team, no bureaucracy — what you ship this week is live next week.

Honest by default

The same directness we sell to clients, we use on each other internally.

Open roles

Where we need help right now.

Every role below reports directly to the founding team — no account layer in between.

Full-Stack Developer

Full-timeRemote · GlobalEngineering
Apply

Build and ship the products and client sites that carry the New Machine name — from a Next.js marketing site to a full SaaS backend, end to end, with no layer of hand-off between you and production.

Responsibilities

  • Ship features across the stack: React/Next.js front ends, Node/Python APIs, and the databases behind them
  • Own a project from technical spec through deploy — no separate QA or DevOps team to hand off to
  • Review architecture decisions with the founding team before they become expensive to undo
  • Keep client and internal products fast, accessible and maintainable, not just "working"
  • Pair with design and marketing to turn a Figma file or a rough idea into a shipped product

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years shipping production web applications, ideally with TypeScript and a modern framework
  • Comfortable owning a feature end to end — API, database, UI — without a large team behind you
  • Can explain a technical trade-off in plain language to a non-technical founder or client
  • Genuinely curious about new tools, but not distracted by them — you finish what you start
  • Full overlap availability isn't required; async communication skills are

Product Designer — UI/UX & Brand

Full-timeRemote · GlobalDesign
Apply

Design the interfaces, brand systems and visual identity for every product and client site we touch — the person who decides whether something looks like a template or looks like New Machine.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end UI/UX for client websites, landing pages and internal products
  • Build and maintain design systems that scale across projects instead of starting from zero each time
  • Turn a client brief into a visual direction, then defend it with reasoning, not just taste
  • Run lightweight usability passes on shipped work and fold the findings back into the system
  • Collaborate directly with engineering on implementation — no redlines thrown over a wall

What we’re looking for

  • A portfolio that shows real shipped work, not just concept explorations
  • Fluency in a modern design tool (Figma or equivalent) and a working understanding of how the web actually renders your work
  • Strong typography, layout and color instincts — you can tell why a design feels generic
  • Comfortable presenting and defending design decisions directly to clients
  • Bonus: some hands-on CSS/front-end experience so your files ship close to as-designed

Performance Marketing Specialist

ContractRemote · GlobalGrowth
Apply

Run the paid campaigns — for us and for clients — that turn ad spend into qualified leads. You own the numbers: cost per lead, conversion rate, and return on spend, not just impressions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, Google and other relevant platforms
  • Build and iterate on audience targeting, creative testing and bidding strategy
  • Set up conversion tracking and attribution so every dollar spent is accounted for
  • Report in plain numbers — cost per lead, conversion rate, revenue impact — not vanity metrics
  • Work directly with the content and design team to brief creative that actually performs

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years running paid campaigns with a real budget and real accountability for the results
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads at a minimum
  • Comfortable reading and explaining a campaign's numbers without dressing them up
  • Understands funnels beyond the ad click — landing pages, forms, follow-up
  • Can work independently against a target with light day-to-day oversight

Content & Social Lead

Full-timeRemote · GlobalGrowth
Apply

Own the voice of New Machine and our clients across social and content — planning, writing and shipping posts that sound like a person, not a content calendar template.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and run monthly content calendars for New Machine and client accounts
  • Write captions, scripts and short-form copy that match each brand's actual voice
  • Direct and edit short-form video and static content alongside the design team
  • Track what performs and adjust the plan — not just post and hope
  • Manage community engagement and respond to comments/DMs in the brand's voice

What we’re looking for

  • A track record of growing or running social accounts with measurable engagement
  • Strong, adaptable writing — able to switch tone between a clinic, a real estate brand and a restaurant
  • Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar) — you don't need to wait on someone else to cut a reel
  • Organized enough to run several client calendars at once without anything slipping
  • Comfortable giving and taking direct feedback on creative work
